Two questions that always arrive — one at eleven in the morning, the other at eleven at night.
“When can he go outside?”
It is not the age that decides, it is the vaccines: a puppy goes out one week after the last vaccine against the contagious diseases. Enter the date of birth and the first-year calendar appears with the real dates — vaccines, microchip, deworming and the neutering window.
“He ate chocolate. Is it serious?”
It depends on three things: how much he weighs, which chocolate it was and how many grams. A square of milk chocolate in a labrador is not the same as a bar of dark chocolate in a yorkshire. The sum is done in milligrams of theobromine per kilo — and it takes three seconds.
Who treats
Hypertension did not arrive here by accident.
The clinical director trained at the Royal Veterinary College in London, on studies of feline and canine hypertension. Her master’s thesis is on feline hypertension. At PetDoctors, blood pressure is measured at every consultation.
